摘要: Beta titanium (Ti) alloys are one of the most promising groups Ti for biomedical applications. This work presents production, microstructural characterization, and mechanical properties as-cast Ti-10Mo-xNb (x = 0, 3, 6, 9, 20, 30) alloys. They were produced via arc melting characterized by scanning electron microscopy X-ray diffraction. The density each alloy was measured Archimedes method characterization carried out using Vickers microhardness test Young's modulus measurements. results show a near beta microstructure niobium (Nb) contents lower or equal to 9 wt% while single-phase obtained higher Nb additions. values decreased with increase content in elastic Ti-10Mo-3Nb Ti-10Mo-20Nb than those cp Ti-6Al-4V.
