摘要: A 6-wk experiment was conducted using 360 one-day-old Jumbo Cornish Cross broiler chicks to evaluate the effects of source and concentration Se on growth performance retention. Broilers were fed corn-soy-based diets formulated contain 0 (negative control), 0.1, 0.2, or 0.3 ppm supplemental from SelenoSource AF (Se yeast A, Diamond V Mills, Cedar Rapids, IA), Sel-Plex B, Alltech, Nicholasville, KY), sodium selenite. Starter for first 21 d (6 replicates 10 broilers per treatment). On 21, regrouped within dietary treatments finisher cages (11 5 treatment) following d. Feed intake measured daily. Body weights 1, 42. Excreta samples collected 4 consecutive days at end each 3-wk feeding period estimate Blood 11 treatment 42 determine blood concentrations glutathione peroxidase (GPX) activity.
