摘要: Notch is a key regulator of vertebrate neurogenesis and the cytoplasmic adaptor protein Numb modulator signaling pathway. To address role murine in development central nervous system, we used conditional gene ablation approach. We show that involved maturation cerebellar granule cells. Although specification neural cell fates cerebellum not affected absence Numb, transition from mitotic progenitor to mature aberrant migration postmitotic cells internal layer delayed. In some animals, this results complete agenesis strong ataxia. confirmed these findings vitro found Numb-deficient marked delay maturation. Our suggest plays fully differentiated cerebellum. addition, Purkinje also delayed mice.
