摘要: Behavioural syndromes are correlations between behaviours in different contexts. For example, an individual's behaviour response to a predator might be related the same towards conspecifics. We examined developmental stability of single (activity unfamiliar environment, aggressive and boldness under predation risk) these two Californian populations three-spined sticklebacks. Individually marked fish were measured for all three at points during development, as juveniles, subadults adults. Even though unstable through time, some stable. one population, neither nor aggression was stable but positive correlation them was. Certain apparent stages not others, pattern differed populations. These data suggest that behavioural do necessarily limit plasticity, ecological circumstances favour suites traits.
