摘要: Problem statement: A valuable Source of plant and animal various species in the west Iran is Zagros forests that, misuses by foresters local societies has caused severe degradation. In this study, forest areas ecological assessment was carried out with a (GIS)-based MCDM approach for multiple-use planning order to reduce degradation improving sustainability. Approach: All possible land uses were evaluated separately. The AHP used defining weight criteria sub-criteria. Sub-criteria mapped at GIS environment using available data, fieldwork IRSp6 data. priority map each use created GIS-based WLC model. final produced overlying all maps. Ecological capability generated editing present map, laws fieldwork. Results: Weights sub- defined CR<0.10. most important sub-criteria resulted, too. indicated preference suitable area, ecologically. suitability showed that are enforceable together. Also, area distinct. more than 70% study current not based on criteria, which Conclusion: results meaning can be exist executing those will cause decreasing dependence trees, Thus, integrated could benefit planners decision makers. Recommendation: Through we aimed suggesting management other stakeholders an scientifically sound practical.
