摘要: In tropical dry forests, although seed germination and seedling establishment are in general limited by the seasonal availability of water, high interspecific variability, nonetheless, exists terms traits dynamics. Differences among species may be related to other plant life-history traits, such that assessing these relationships increase our understanding factors influencing establishment, which would affect regeneration pathways forest communities. this study, taking into consideration effect species' phylogeny, we evaluated metrics (percentage, lag time, rate germination) types (i.e. cotyledons functional morphology), with (growth form, mass, dispersal syndrome phenology) for 110 a Neotropical Mexico. A total 92% studied disperse their seeds during season, mainly at beginning season (66%), strategy mostly associated autochorous herbs. Seed was more frequent dispersed end season. Germination percentage not any studied. However, time were negatively trait turn depended on growth form syndrome. The dominant type community phanerocotylar epigeal foliaceous (56%), small mass herbaceous form. Our results provide evidence several explain an important part variation characteristics observed species. Therefore, useful grouping strategies roles
