摘要: A pentaglycosyl diglyceride with the tentative structure of galactosyl-galactosyl-mannoheptosyl-glucosyl-glucosyl was found to be major glycolipid in Acholeplasma modicum. The heptose is d-glycero-d-mannoheputose. diglyceride-terminating moiety possesses O-alpha-d-glucopyranosyl-(1 --> 2)-O-alpha-d-glucopyranosyl-sn-1,2-diglyceride. Other glycolipids occurring this organism are a diglucosyl and monoglucosyl structures identical terminal segments diglyceride. More fully acylated derivatives these two also occur. phospholipids all glycerophosphoryl type. neutral lipids composed diglycerides four polyterpenes. polyterpenes consist both colored colorless carotenoids become radiolabeled [(14)C]acetate [(14)C]mevalonate.
