摘要: A method for maximizing battery efficiency of a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) is disclosed. In one embodiment, predetermined number high-speed shared control channels (HS-SCCHs) are identified and WTRUs instructed to monitor the HS-SCCHs according schedule. The schedule can include monitoring in same timeslot, either timeslot just or utilized by another channel.
