摘要: In 32 patients (11 females, 21 males) the diagnosis of chronic oral multifocal candidiasis was established on basis erythematous, plaquelike, or nodular lesions in two more following locations: commissural area, palate, dorsum tongue. Hyphae and/or pseudohyphae Candida-like organisms were demonstrated PAS-stained smears from all lesions. Ninety-seven separate registered. Thirty experienced pain, burning, itching affected areas. All tobacco smokers, and denture wearers. The treated with antimycotics; median length treatment 46 days for wearers 44 nondenture After antimycotic therapy change followed certain patterns which determined by original type lesion. Palatal areas showed highest recurrence rate after 6 12 months. pathogenic role other factors development candidal infection are discussed.
