摘要: Abstract Background Theta burst stimulation (TBS) and quadripulse (QPS) are known to induce synaptic plasticity in humans. There have been no head-to-head comparisons of the efficacy variability between TBS QPS. Objective To compare interindividual original QPS protocols. We hypothesized that would be more effective less variable than TBS. Methods Forty-six healthy subjects participated this study. Thirty main comparison experiment, other sixteen experiment obtain natural variation motor-evoked potentials. The facilitatory effects were compared intermittent (iTBS) QPS5, inhibitory continuous (cTBS) QPS50. potential amplitudes elicited by transcranial magnetic over primary motor cortex measured before intervention every 5 min after for 1 h. investigate variability, responder/nonresponder/opposite-responder rates also analyzed. Results QPS5 greater those iTBS, QPS50 much stronger cTBS. responder rate was significantly higher had a smaller number opposite responders Conclusion is stable induction
