摘要: The electrically stimulated acoustic-wave (ESAW) method for observing resident space charge in dielectric insulators has been used to characterize the poling behavior of millimeter-thick samples polymeric insulation. principle involves applying a voltage pulse across material containing and recording exiting stress-wave signal by means piezoelectric transducer. This is noninvasive technique may be performed, situ, during any space-charge-generating experiment. able detect with figure merit equal sensitivity times resolution 130 pC/${\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$, and, our knowledge, lowest reported nondestructive space-charge-profiling technique.
