摘要: Over the past decade there has been a worldwide exportation of US discourse ‘zero tolerance’, and whole panoply ideological baggage that it carries with it. First identified by Loic Wacquant in Les Prisons de la Misere (1999; see also expanded English edition, 2008), global movement this body thought subsequently traced interrogated numerous scholars (Smith, 2001; Harcourt, Wacquant, 2003; Belina Helms, Newburn, 2002). In many its landings cohered local ideas practices to form reputedly common sense rationalities vis-a-vis ‘problematic’ behavior populations how best control them. recent years these scaled up from an emphasis on urban social greater association military pacification.
