摘要: Abstract Objective: The prevalence of carotid bruits and the utility auscultation for predicting stenosis are not well known. We aimed to establish diagnostic accuracy detection hemodynamically significant stenosis, using duplex as gold standard. Methods: Northern Manhattan Study (NOMAS) is a prospective multiethnic community-based cohort designed examine incidence stroke other vascular events association between various risk factors subclinical atherosclerosis.
