摘要: Objective: To investigate whether dental hygienist students through peer-learning can increase their ability to conduct motivational interviewing (MI) compared with who follow the regular curriculum. The aim was also get an insight into process of learning MI. Materials and Methods: Ten were randomly selected either intervention group (IG) or control (CG). Students in IG performed two MI sessions, which discussed a peer tutor. Thereafter third evaluated by “Motivational Interviewing Treatment Integrity Code, Version 3.1”. CG consisted five followed curriculum education they conducted one session. A questionnaire used study how reflected before after these sessions. analysis using descriptive statistics for comparison between groups Mann-Whitney test used. Results: significantly more, simple complex reflections (p < 0.05) CG. gave less information during counseling, thereby asked more open-ended questions than 0.05). Both planned sessions carefully preparing met patients. Conclusion: Dental present increased skills from other tutor, group.
