Wood kiln moisture measurement calibration and metering methods

摘要: A moisture metering calibration method and system for, e.g., determining the lumber within a drying kiln is disclosed. Calibration of indicative electrical signals obtained from, sensing capacitive plates spaced apart stack performed, wherein long lengths (e.g., up to 1000 linear feet or more) coaxial cable can be used for transmitting signals, effectively removing signal anomalies induced in such cabling so that accurate measurements result.
