摘要: The issue addressed in this paper concerns the emergence and dynamics of a regional cluster inthe music industry. Whereas mainstream economic geography models explain agglomeration ofexisting activities, an evolutionary approach is necessary to understand emergenceof genuinely new clusters. Based on empirical analysis major Swedish cluster, itis shown how cognitive features, institutional organizational framework, as well aseconomic incentives, were interlinked process emergence. A multitude forcesthus coincided time space support emerging cluster. latent knowledge base,language skill path-dependence all played significant role. It also mobile anddensely located agents, displaying high degree connectivity, together with external impulsesthrough immigrants, contributed re-vitalization Stockholm musiccluster.
