摘要: To date there has been a moderate amount of work done on the development salt tolerant crop plants. Fuchs (1955) speculated that breeding for tolerance should be quite similar to drought tolerance. In 1960’s, Dewey (1962) developed program crested wheatgrass, Epstein and Jefferies (1964) wrote genetic control ion absorption tolerance, Hunt (1965) demonstrated heritability in intermediate Ramage (personal communication) began his studies developing barley Arizona, were others, but not many. By now, are programs under way improvement several crops including alfalfa, barley, corn, grapes, even walnuts. United States Department Agriculture/Current Research Information System (USDA/CRIS) data base, about 30 active projects 17 recently completed ones include topic improving some form program.
