摘要: This paper describes step-by-step development of a custom-made measurement system and also provides an assessment the reliability set-up. The angular distribution scattered field generated by sufficiently long cylindrical scatterer in water medium has been measured this system. values have compared with theoretical results to validate instrument. curves obtained using Faran's theory ( J Acoust Society America , 23(4) (1951) 405). In study, acoustic wave frequency 2.19 MHz emitted medical ultrasound source employed provide energy scattering object. Two steel wires different gauges (0.68mm 0.91mm diameter) size parameters k � 3.12 4.17, respectively, taken as prototype scatterers. Here, is number incident radius target.
