摘要: This paper presents a new adaptive pushover procedure to account for the effect of higher modes in order accurately estimate seismic response bridges. The is considered by introducing minimum value total effective modal mass. proposed method employs enough number ensure that defined mass participates all increments loading. An demand curve also developed assessment demand. efficiency and robustness are demonstrated conducting parametric study. analysis includes 18 four-span integral bridges with various heights piers. inelastic history employed as reference solution this Numerical results indicate excellent accuracy response. For most investigated study, difference between estimated less than 25% displacements 10% internal forces. indicates very good compared available procedures literature. therefore recommended be applied performance evaluation engineering applications.
