摘要: Abstract The recognition of a spatial data infrastructure (SDI), as two-sided market, leads the way to an innovative approach for analysing strategies used bring two groups users into interdependent markets. literature derived from recent industrial organisation is rich in theoretical models, aiming at study price structure and product design, which maximise participation groups, profits firms, value created entire ecosystem. current paper interprets adapts model market order fit case SDI. purpose highlight relevance SDI dynamics. focal research question how infrastructure, through platform management process, can transition government-funded entity self-sustaining operation. analysis relies on specific GEOSUD SDI, focusing ensuring interest image-based application developers satellite image users. results show that theory markets brings complementary elements development strategies, by proposing framework reasoning, not only allows better understanding outflows already established, but also provides tools accompany strategic reflection public institutions entrepreneurs, who tend support uses services remote sensing.
