摘要: Abstract Aquatic invertebrate communities are important to shallow lake ecosystem form and function, providing vital components the food web thereby achieving management goals. We characterized physicochemical variables in six Nebraska Sandhill lakes examined these characteristics within an alternative stable state framework. Surveys were conducted during 2005 each of by sampling aquatic macroinvertebrate abundance, zooplankton abundance biomass, phytoplankton variables. When placed framework, response exhibited a gradient different states.
