摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes new zirconium complexes, which can promote the polymerization of ethylene for vinyl-terminated low molecular weight polyethylenes (PEs) with high activities, and examples their applications to create a class polymers. The behavior complexes is investigated methylalumoxane (MAO) cocatalyst at 25 °C under atmospheric pressure. Although there no clear relationship between catalytic activity substituent on imine-nitrogen, it appears that steric bulk substituents play role extremely activities are thus achieved. probably because bulky would enhance rate by increasing separation cationic active site anionic cocatalyst. A comparison polyethylene weights (M w ) resultant Pes reveals imine–nitrogen affects M values, ranging from 2100 13800. It also demonstrated produce linear PEs having narrow distributions activities.
