摘要: Abstract Few studies have focused on the relationships between vegetation and soil seed banks small islands. To better understand pattern regeneration potential of tropical coral islands, we measured environmental factors species composition, richness along a gradient from center to edges East Island in South China Sea. The results showed that similarity composition increased edge. In center, both was positively correlated with organic matter, total nitrogen, phosphorus. At edge, pH. Our indicate plant communities contributed little island evidently played minor role at location. Plant near comparison, greater for banks. Conservation management practices center-to-edge should be designed accordance differences different locations gradient.
