摘要: Plasma concentrations of azapropazone have been measured in young and elderly subjects after a single dose 600 mg azapropazone. Maximum were higher the elderly. Renal function was impaired older subjects. Mean clearance significantly reduced (P less than 0.001) old, compared to young. Elimination half-life prolonged but difference did not reach statistical significance due wide variation values The volume distribution degree adipose tissue differ between two groups. Azapropazone correlated well with creatinine when all included for younger only patients alone. addition fat mass into regression equation improved relationship groups group levels achieved. Reasons old are discussed. effects age on pharmacokinetics suggest that therapeutic plasma may be achieved daily.
