摘要: Abstract A simple and convenient chromatographic method is described for the simultaneous complete separation of unconjugated steroids progesterone, deoxycorticosterone 17α-hydroxyprogesterone on 40-cm columns Sephadex LH-20 using a water-saturated solvent system containing n-heptane-chloroform (1:1) plus 0.25% ethanol. Manual operation up to ten run in parallel facilitated by use graduated, cylindrical, reservoirs top columns. Thus, negligible column-to-column, only limited day-to-day, variations occur elution patterns, constant high recoveries are obtained. When combined with previously 60-cm chromatography, eight important corticosteroids can be isolated individually from 16 20 small plasma samples per day.
