摘要: This paper proposes a methodology for choosing the best transmission expansion plan considering various types of security (operating reliability) criteria. The proposed method minimizes total cost that includes investment as well operating and standby generators. purpose study is development new solving system planning problem subject to contingency criteria which are essentially extensions (N-1) criterion. uses an integer programming framework, optimal strategy determined using branch bound utilizes network flow approach maximum flow-minimum cut set theorem. characteristics illustrated by applying it five-bus 21-bus system. results these case studies demonstrate provides practical way find power planning.
