摘要: We report a novel strategy for using gold nanoparticles capped with chitosan sensing ions of heavy metals. Acidic anions (glutamate in our case) are expected to cap the nanoparticle surfaces similar conventional methods stabilization by citrate ions. The polycationic nature enables attachment polymer negatively charged through electrostatic interactions. Use serves dual purpose providing sufficient steric hindrance ensuring stability colloid and also functionalize use as sensors. well-documented chelating properties sensitivity optical agglomeration have been employed detect low concentrations metals (Zn2+ Cu2+) water.
