摘要: Abstract It has previously been demonstrated that apes can cross-modally perceive objects from vision to touch. This suggests they possess an ability which considered be the exclusive property of man. The present study extends this work further by demonstrating bidirectionally cross-modal perception (i.e. touch vision) in apes.
