摘要: This paper reports the application of anthracite particles different sizes and coated with nine kinds layered double hydroxides (LDHs) varying in M(II)-M(III) cations, as alternative substrates simulated vertical-flow constructed wetland columns. Effects LDHs-coating particle size modified anthracites were examined to evaluate their abilities removing oxygen demand nitrogen from sewage wastewater. Results showed that LDHs modification effectively enhanced removal organics. The efficiencies total (TN) , ammonia chemical (COD) best improved by 28.5%, 11.9% 4.1% for medium (1-3 mm), followed 9.2%, 5.5% 13.6% large (3-5 mm), respectively. Only TN was up 16.6% small (0.5-1 mm). Nitrate tended accumulate fluctuate greatly across all treatments, probably due dominancy aerobic condition Overall, MgFe-LDHs selected best-modified coating anthracite. results suggested would be one promising strategies provide new-types highly efficient lasting substrates.
