摘要: Emerald ash borer (EAB) Agrilus planipennis Fairmaire is an invasive non-native woodboring beetle that has killed hundreds of millions trees (Fraxinus spp.) in North America. Identifying the arthropod community associated with been highlighted as important research requirement understanding wider effects EAB. We harvested live infested EAB at 37 sites Maryland from 2011 to 2014 and collected a total 2031 arthropods. All arthropods were identified order 94.6% family or below. The comprised 13 orders, 60 families 41 genera, 28 species identified. Coleoptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera Lepidoptera accounted for 98.3% collected. Data on changes richness diversity over time fitted second-order polynomial models, corresponding transition dominant taxa beetles (Cerambycidae) parasitoids (Braconidae Eulophidae). This resulted composition infestation intensified. The findings present study provide further evidence risk EAB. Given number insects threatening American forests, establishing what are predicting likely broader impacts these invasions.
