摘要: Objective. To explore physicians’ and nurses’ views on patient professional roles in the management of lifestyle-related diseases their risk factors. Design. A questionnaire study with a focus adult obesity, dyslipidemia, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, smoking. Setting. Healthcare centres Paijat-Hame hospital district, Finland. Subjects. Physicians nurses working primary healthcare (n =220). Main outcome measures. Perceptions barriers to treatment conditions, perceptions patients’ responsibilities self-care, experiences awkwardness intervening obesity smoking, rushed schedules, health professionals’ own competence lifestyle counselling.
