摘要: Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine if elastic therapeutic tape placed on anterior lower limbs would affect stride and step length in fatigued runners’ gait. Methods: Forty-two healthy participants were equally divided into a kinesiology group (Rocktape) no-tape control group. Participants both groups underwent baseline running gait test at 6 mph without tape. After this, engaged an exhaustive body fatigue protocol until they reached maximal volitional exhaustion. then randomized 1 2 interventions: (1) Experimental group, which had under tension the aspect their bilaterally from upper thigh just below patella, or (2) Control did not receive taping. All similar 6-mph postanalysis. Participant’s analyzed for 90 seconds during each iteration. Researchers used 2-way repeatedmeasures analysis variance considering (prefatigue, postfatigue) (tape, no-tape) as subject factors. Results: protocol, demonstrated significant decrease 14.2 mm (P = .041) 29.4 .043). demonstrate decline these parameters. Conclusions: In preliminary study, placing over short-term preservation runner state. © 2014 National University Health Sciences.
