摘要: A series of autoradiography experiments were conducted in order to test the theory that serotonin (5-HT) receptor subtype 5-HT1a is involved alcohol-withdrawal kindled convulsive behaviour. Alcohol-withdrawal kindling was performed by subjecting male Wistar rats multiple episodes consisting 2 days alcohol intoxication and 5 withdrawal. In first episode led focal downregulation [3H]-8-hydroxy-2-(di-n-propylamino)tetralin ([3H]-8-OH-DPAT) binding sites septum subregions frontal cortex, hippocampus, entorhinal cortex. This alcohol-induced response blunted both animals exposed repeated dependence which previous withdrawal reactions blocked diazepam administration. paradoxical upregulation [3H]-8-OH-DPAT found cortex control fed isocalorically with subsequently intoxication. It concluded alterations induced regulation after not caused processes per se, but due specific non-specific effects.
