Musculoskeletal Manifestations in Sjogren's Syndrome: An Orthopedic Point of View.

摘要: Sjogren's syndrome (SS) is a frequent entity with broad symptomatology spectrum, mainly affecting the salivary and lachrymal glands. The disease also affects musculoskeletal system targeting bones, specific joints, muscles, peripheral nerve system. Disease related clinical manifestations canhave an accumulative impact, as commonly associated other rheumatic diseases. A literature review was performed aim to assess in-depth association of its treatment agents further investigate potential relevance common orthopedic postoperative complications.
