摘要: Hypoglycemia is uncommon in the general, nondiabetic population but occurs frequently persons with diabetes treated insulin or secretagogues. Thus, iatrogenic hypoglycemia explains majority of cases among type 1 (T1DM). Since T1DM characterized by absolute dependence, current imperfections replacement therapies often lead to a mismatch between caloric supply and circulating levels, thus increasing risk for glycemic fluctuations. limiting factor excellent control insulin-treated subjects. Intensification was associated 300 % increase rate Diabetes Control Complications Trial. Recent measurements using continuous glucose monitoring reveal an alarming daytime nocturnal episodes patients T1DM. Etiological factors underlying include predictable triggers (skipped meals, exercise, over dosage) as well defective counterregulation, component hypoglycemia-associated autonomic failure.
