摘要: Mucormycoses is a fungus which increasingly has been reported as cause of opportunistic infection during the last 40 years. This most commonly associated with underlying predisposing conditions, particularly diabetic ketoacidosis, hematologic and other malignancies, steroid therapy, broad-spectrum antibiotic or various acquired hereditary immunodeficient disease states. The present report that previously healthy patient acute renal failure secondary to postviral rhabdomyolysis syndrome, who received corticosteroids developed unsuspected undiagnosed systemic mucormycosis. Autopsy revealed he died consequence massive pulmonary hemorrhage due disseminated invasive mucormycosis, involving both lungs kidneys. A review literature reporting mucormycosis in association provided. Mucormycosis should be considered immunocompromised patients fevers unknown origin so early diagnosis prompt surgical medical therapy may instituted.
