摘要: The velocity of sound through various animal organ tissues and living human is measured, using an ultrasonic pulse method, at 1.25 2.5 Mc. effect anisotropy (fiber direction) on determined with beef muscle. Values obtained the beam traversing tissue perpendicularly to long axis muscle bundles do not differ significantly from those found energy directed parallel fibers.Velocity tissues, consisting mostly muscle, measured by transmitting ultrasound thicknesses arm, leg, thigh.Specific gravities are measured. characteristic acoustic impedances (ρc values), calculated density data, vary between 1.5×105 1.7×105 g/cm2/sec. imaginary component impedance be negligible frequencies which these measurements made.
