摘要: Abstract WC-10 wt% Co cemented carbides were prepared by a new oscillatory pressure sintering (OPS) process in the present work, and influence of temperature on their microstructure mechanical properties was mainly investigated. The results also compared to sample via conventional hot pressing (HP) under similar consolidation condition. optimum OPS ∼1310 °C; denser with uniform could be obtained; exhibited highest flexural strength 2431 MPa, Vickers hardness 21.1 GPa fracture toughness 11.42 MPa m1/2. Moreover, OPS-fabricated displayed much better than that HP-fabricated sample, which might greatly related improved grain boundary sliding, plastic deformation mass diffusion during process. This work demonstrates approach prepare high-performance carbides.
