摘要: It is well known that coarsening of carbides, intergranular impurity segregation and other microstructural change degrade the fracture toughness ferritic low alloy steels after long service operation. The ductile-brittle transition temperature (DBTT) odtained by Charpy V-notch impact test its shift operation one most useful measures characteristics these materials. However, it difficult to extract multiple specimens for CVN tests without damaging components. In this study, mode behavior was investigated means a small punch technique in relation DBTT behavior. experimental results revealed single linear correlation between obtained from V-notched various kinds steels.
