摘要: The introduction of photoaffinity labeling into the mode action insect hormones and pheromones started 12 yr ago with juvenile hormone binding proteins (JHBPs) from cockroaches in laboratory late John K. Koeppe. Applying this technique to Manduca sexta led ultimately a three-laboratory collaborative project that has begun dissect molecular basis for JH transport, metabolism, nuclear gene activation Lepidoptera. This review provides (1) history first experiments; (2) an idea breadth arthropod classes Insecta, Crustacea, Arachnida; (3) evidence depth unearthing key details about three different types M. sexta.
