摘要: We present a theoretical analysis of the mode-coupling dynamics heterogeneous 6- and 7-core multicore fibers (MCFs). Simple analytical expressions for mode amplitudes are derived, which highlight effects dissimilar cores on coupling characteristics. Although power transfer is confined among group identical cores, within each significantly affected by presence neighboring dependent propagation constants eigenmodes composite structure. The can enhance or mitigate choosing appropriate design parameters. formulas serve as basis understanding cross-talk MCFs more complicated cases involving longitudinal perturbations.
