摘要: This article provides an overview of toxicological pathways that is important in studying the effects natural environment on human health (medical geology). The divided into four sections. introduction defines medical geology and role toxicology this discipline. section exposure examines various ways which toxins are mobilized within geologic environment, toxic impacts different routes using examples from geology. metabolism xenobiotics how transported body affect changes (making them more or less toxic), with special emphasis aryl hydrocarbon receptor pathway. final discusses approaches geology, including methods for isolating environmental samples testing, use cell cultures animal models studies, molecular biological importance.
