摘要: Based on structural and mineralogical characteristics of four hydrothermal chimney samples collected by submersible Alvin, growth history formation environment at EPR 9-10°N are established. It is shown that there occur two types with different deposition environments according to differences in their shape, structure mineral assemblage: type I forms an high temperature, low pH strong reducing focus flow II a relatively rich Zn environment. Growth begins the anhydrite. Subsequently Cu-Fe-Zn sulphide various directions chimneys decides final this chimney. According observation analysis assemblages, process could be divided into three stages from early, middle late. Changes temperature major chemical reaction also deduced. Different chimney, quenching crystalline pyrite and/or sphalerite provide foundation early stage forma-tion.
