摘要: The aim of the study was to evaluate daily rhythms rectal temperature (RT) and body surface (BST) adult, yearling foal donkeys during cold-dry (harmattan) hot-dry seasons in a tropical savanna. RTs BSTs 30 clinically healthy, free-ranging were recorded using digital infrared thermometers. RT BST each donkey thermal environmental parameters inside pen measured bi-hourly from 0600 0600 hours (GM + 1) on experimental day. Application single cosinor procedure showed that exhibited varying levels rhythmicity both seasons, with values usually higher afternoon periods photophase light/dark cycle. oscillatory pattern differed season, greater amplitude season than season. acrophases mostly restricted cycle seasons. mean adult (37.10 ± 0.10 °C), (37.19 ± 0.10 °C) (37.45 ± 0.11 °C) (F = 93.41, P < 0.0001) (35.40 ± 0.05 °C, 35.50 ± 0.04 °C 36.20 ± 0.05 °C, respectively). In conclusion, seasonal changes influenced significantly donkeys, kept under natural
