摘要: Direct and indirect economic loss in the agricultural sector due to drought is huge. With advent of molecular-marker technology, research on resistance crop plants has shifted from physiological descriptions phenomenon genetic dissection mechanisms involved. Here, we report a comprehensive study mapping components (osmotic adjustment root traits) doubled-haploid rice (Oryza sativa L.) population 154 lines. A linkage map consisting 315 DNA markers was constructed. total 41 quantitative trait loci (QTLs) were identified for osmotic traits, individually explained 8–38% phenotypic variance. region chromosome 4 harbored major QTLs several traits. Consistent responses across backgrounds detected should be useful marker-assisted selection towards incorporation interest into an elite line. Comparative three conserved genomic regions associated with various grass species. These results suggest that these conferring adaptation have been species during genome evolution might directly applied improvement cereal crops.
