摘要: The spatial distribution of communities was examined in estuarine mud flat sediments by the biochemical analysis lipids and lipid components extracted from sediments. Total phospholipid used as a measure total biomass, fatty acids were indicators community composition. Comparisons made among 2- 2-m (location) 0.2- 0.2-m (cluster) sampling plots using nested variance to design an optimal strategy define microbial content large, relatively homogenous area. At two three stations, plot representative station, but areas no case station. biomass measured extractable palmitic acid showed excellent correlation with “signatures” characteristic bacteria, lower long-chain polyenoic microfauna.
