摘要: Abstract The electrochemical decomposition of CO2 gas in LiCl–Li2O or CaCl2–CaO molten salt was studied to produce carbon. This process consists the reduction oxide, Li2O CaO, and thermal by metallic Li Ca. Two kinds ZrO2 solid electrolytes were tested as an oxygen ions conductor removed from salts outside reactor. After electrolysis both salts, aggregations nanometer-scale amorphous carbon rod-like graphite crystals observed transmission electron microscope. When 9.7% CO2–Ar mixed blown into salt, current efficiency evaluated be 89.7% 78.5%, respectively, exhaust analysis supplied charge. electrolyte with better ionic conductivity used, production became larger. rate determining step this proposal diffusion electrolyte.
