摘要: During the first year of my residency training I had occasion to ask chief, Dr. Robert Stone, how could be sure accuracy roentgen diagnosis. In course our discussion he told me about his former Howard Ruggles, an excellent diagnostician who was able make a high percentage correct diagnoses after brief examination films. Sometimes physicians felt that Ruggles' ready were perhaps not too reliable and they might ask: “Dr. what makes you think this shadow is metastatic lesion?” To which just as reply would be: “Because it looks like it!” All us some extent in way, often difficult describe many possible variations certain lesions, as, for instance, protean manifestations pulmonary tuberculosis.
