摘要: Abstract As a type of solid waste with large quantities pollutants, municipal sewage sludge (MSS) itself and its reclamation are becoming growing concern governments. In this paper, the direct-utilization MSS to prepare split tiles is proposed tested. Without any pretreatments such as thermokinetic drying, crude from domestic wastewater treatment plant directly incorporated into batch mixtures, then wet ball-milled, filter-pressed, pug-milled, extrusion-formed, dried fired obtain tiles. A series formulation experiments physical chemical characterizations were carried out; results show that feasible maximum content high 60 wt%, corresponding bending strength water absorption tile samples at 1210 °C 25.5 MPa 1.14 wt% respectively. TCLP test reveals environmentally compatible. The prospective industrial application produce will help significantly reduce environmental impacts.
