摘要: Abstract Winery wastewaters from white and red wine production were studied, in the first stage of this work, by a coagulation/flocculation process using four different coagulants (FeSO4, Al2(SO4)3, FeCl3 Ca(OH)2). The optimal pH volume coagulant added studied. From results achieved it was possible to verify that allows, within conditions dosage, an efficient removal turbidity (aluminium sulphate, 92.6%) total suspended solids — TSS (calcium hydroxide, 95.4%). However, revealed small capacity remove COD load winery even or production. As alternative previous economical aerobic biological evaluated articulation with process. long term aerated storage (LTAS) studied two aeration periods (2.4 h/day 4.0 h/day) trying reach better significant reduced operational costs. Long possibilities obtained degradation 75% 11 weeks for period 4 h/day. A way optimizing LTAS removing remaining organic combination chemical coagulant/flocculant work. Therefore, effluent applied conditions. Calcium hydroxide selected as best apply effluent. Through followed calcium overall efficiency 84.5% COD, 96.6% turbidity, 98.7% volatile (VSS) 99.1% TSS.
